As you may have heard, Pownce is joining Six Apart and we've made the difficult decision to shut down pownce.com. While Pownce's closing is disappointing, it is my and Leah's hope that the most valuable asset, the Pownce community, will find a new home somewhere else on the web. Leah and I will be moving our old Pownce notes here to Vox, where we hope other Pownce users will join us and continue to share their innermost thoughts and the cool stuff they find on the wild internets. We're busy adding the ability to export all of your Pownce content to make this transition as easy as possible.

Personally, I'm very excited about working at Six Apart. The people here are great, and we're going to be working on some awesome projects. So keep an eye out for us, because we're definitely going to continue making the Internet a better place.
